What Is Scholarly Publication Supply Hub ?

Scholarly Publication Hub is a service whereby external user can make a request to borrow books or receive documents from Universiti Malaya Library. Fee-based services are offered through Book Loan Service and Document Supply Service to registered / non-registered members. We can supply academic materials for your research needs. Our collection consist of 1,208,646 copies of printed monographs 237,641 copies of bound journal and 456,585 titles in microfiche.

Book Loan Service

Loans are available among libraries/ institutions/ funders with a Publication Supply Prepayment account.

Almost every item on our shelves is available for loan to both commercial and non-commercial organisations around the region, except:

  • Current, Bound and unbound journals and newspapers
  • Reference Collection
  • Academic Reserve Collection
  • Rare Collection
  • Microforms
  • Free Range Reading Materials
  • Theses and Academic Exercises

Prepayment Account

It is a service to make it quicker and easier to pay Document and Book Loan service charges. Besides paying online or generate an invoice. This offers an alternative payment option whereby libraries/institutions or funders can open an account with us to deposit Publication Supply funds upfront.
