Available to graduates of the Universiti Malaya.
The duration of membership is one year (12 months) from the date of registration and ends the following year. Notice of renewal will be sent through e-mail a month before the date of expiry.

• Online databases subscribed by the Library can only be accessed within the Library premises (Fees reviewed on 26th February 2020)

Available to non UM graduates – Staff & student from private institution.

Bachelor of Jurisprudence (External) [B. Juris (External)] is an academic bachelor degree programme. Students enrolled in this programme who intends to enter a law-based profession must comply with the additional requirements set by the Legal Profession Qualifying Board of Malaysia under the Legal Profession Act of 1976.

Library Membership Package:

• Students of Bachelor Degree in Jurisprudence (External) is permitted to use The Law Library of the Universiti Malaya to seek information and also using the facilities that are provided in the Library
• Annual Library Membership fee : RM100.00 (The Library membership only be renewed once the payment has been made)
• Online Databases Access: Campus net and remote access (Not elligible to access online databases if library membership expired)

• Part-time research assistants to UM academic staff
• Visiting scholars and researchers
• Senior Malaysian government officers who are undertaking research
