The objective of the exhibition is to introduce Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohammad’s profile. We introduce our collections and resources to the UM community and surrounding communities in appreciating treasures and invaluable documentation of Tun. Dr. Mahathir Mohamad.
The exhibition aims to introduce the work of Prof. Emeritus Muhammad Haji Salleh and his related writings covering a variety of genres. These include poetry, poetry, translation, history, traveler, biography, transcription, studies, theories and literary criticism. In addition to books, his personal collection also featured typewriters, author friends' letters, handwritten manuscripts and videos.
The Manuscript Exhibition and Nadir Collection is held in honor of UM's 111th anniversary. The main objective of the exhibition was to introduce a special collection of the Library for the first time. The collection consists of Malay manuscripts, Islamic, Chinese rare materials and rare Tamil Malaysiana.
This exhibition was held to commemorate the late Malaysian legend and University of Malaya alumni, Datuk Sudirman Haji Arshad and showcases his unique collections including photographs, books, cassettes, etc.
This is a special exhibition dedicated to the Royal Professor Ungku Abdul Aziz. He is the former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Malaya from 1968 to 1988 and he was awarded the title of Professor Diraja (Regius Professor) in 1978. Before he graduated with a PhD from Waseda University in Tokyo,he studied at English College Johore Bahru his secondary school.
